WHAT DO YOU CHARGE FOR YOUR SERVICES?

Yes! Most projects are broken down into two payments. I typically require a 50% down payment in order to begin any artwork, on most projects. The remaining 50% is due when the artwork is completed. If the project is very large or will go for a long period of time, payments may be broken down into smaller chunks.

DO YOU OFFER JUST A LOGO?
Yes! I offer a one logo design package which includes one logo in color, plus dark and light versions. This is great for a company that is just starting out.
When you license a design from me, you are essentially “borrowing” or “renting” a design for a specified amount of time. We will decide on a term length based on the type and scale of your project. Typically, you will pay an advance payment upfront for me to complete the artwork, and then often royalty payments are made. Through licensing, I will always retain the copyrights and ownership of my artwork. If you are interested in purchasing the copyrights to my artwork, please let me know this when you reach out to me.
WHAT DOES LICENSING MEAN?
CAN I USE A T-SHIRT DESIGN AS MY LOGO?
No. When you purchase a t-shirt design or other designs intended for use on products for sale, you will license the artwork, meaning I still retain the copyright and you are “renting” the artwork for a period of time. When you purchase a logo, the copyrights will transfer to you and you will have complete ownership of the artwork.
CAN I PRINT MY LOGO ON MERCHANDISE LIKE T-SHIRTS, STICKERS, TOWELS, ETC?
YES! When you purchase a logo design or branding package, the rights to the artwork transfer to you once you make the final payment and I deliver the files. This means you can use the logo how you please: on your website, social media, advertising, storefront, merchandise, etc. You cannot, however, alter the artwork or fonts in the logo in any way without permission from me. You may change the colors of fonts, but if you need changes made to the art, please contact me! I’m happy to make adjustments if needed.
The length depends on the scope and type of project! Most branding designs take anywhere from 3-12 weeks, depending on the package. Surface designs can take 4-8 weeks or longer, depending on the project. Stationery is typically 2-3 weeks.
HOW LONG IS THE PROCESS?
Yes, I’d love to! My artwork lends itself very well to book illustrations and I am a former preschool/kindergarten teacher so I know what kids like! I also have two kids of my own. Keep in mind that this type of artwork will be licensed.
CAN YOU ILLUSTRATE A CHILDREN’S BOOK?
At this time I am not accepting custom fabric patterns, because I am working to create my own line of patterns. Some of these will be available for licensing when they are completed!
